J. Seth Hood, John’s son, serves as Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer. Seth joined the Hood Companies in 2008 and works closely alongside John in managing the day-to-day operations of the various entities. He is involved in evaluating all real estate acquisitions, mineral prospects, and other capital investments.
Seth is a 2007 graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a B.S. in Business Administration.
Seth is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), the Ark-La-Tex Association of Petroleum Landmen (ALTAPL), and the Louisiana Oil & Gas Association (LOGA).
Seth is married to Vanna Neal Hood and they have three children. Seth and his family attend The Bridge Community Church in Ruston.
